Auch wenn das heiße Wetter noch nicht vorbei ist, beende ich hiermit meine Sommerpause. Ich muss zugeben, dass ich es überraschend genossen habe, mal zwei Monate (fast vollständig) offline zu sein. Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, dass ich das in den letzten 25 Jahren schon mal hatte … Den Großteil meiner Zeit habe ich überraschenderweise mit Lesen verbracht und mich durch die Tiefen meines eReaders gewühlt und ein paar längst vergessene ungelesene Romane ausgegraben. Außerdem habe ich mir die Zeit genommen meine Merklisten mal etwas aufzuräumen (und Leseproben von Büchern zu lesen, bei denen ich mir nicht sicher war, ob ich sie wirklich noch auf der Wunschliste behalten möchte).
Was den September angeht, so hoffe ich, dass ich das mit dem Lesen weiterhin ganz gut auf die Reihe bekomme. Die aktuellen Temperaturen (für die kommende Woche sind für unsere Gegend drei „tropische Nächte“ und mehrere schwüle Tage mit über 30 Grad angekündigt) lassen mich zwar eher zur Switch greifen, aber theoretisch könnten im September ja schon die ersten Herbsttage vorkommen. Ansonsten wird es Zeit zu schauen, wie es euch so in den letzten Wochen ergangen ist, mal ein paar Rezensionen zu schreiben, bevor ich all das Gelesene ganz vergesse, und natürlich den Blog wiederzubeleben. Außerdem erwarten mein Mann und ich zum Monatsende Besuch, mit dem wir dann vermutlich eine trubelige Woche verbringen werden.

Es freut mich, dass dir die Offline-Zeit gut getan hat! Ich denke mir manchmal, dass ich das auch mal brauchen könnte, denn selbst, wenn ich nicht regelmäßig blogge, sitzt mir das doch immer im Hinterkopf.
Jetzt ist ja tatsächlich endlich mal Abkühlung da. 🙂
Ich fand es wirklich erholsam, dass ich mir die „Erlaubnis“ gegeben habe, zwei Monate offline zu sein. Es ist ja nicht nur das Bloggen, ich war auch sonst so gut wie nicht offline präsent und habe so das eine oder andere „Drama“ verpasst, das mich sonst ziemlich beschäftigt hätte.
Es ist so großartig, dass es endlich kühler ist! Ich habe in der vergangenen Woche so viel besser geschlafen als in den letzten Monaten – ich fange sogar schon wieder mit irgendwelchen Projekten an, weil ich so viel mehr Energie habe als den ganzen Sommer über. 🙂
