Der Dezember war als Lesemonat etwas seltsam. Ich habe zum Monatsanfang viel gelesen, dann wurde ich krank – und hatte das Gefühl, ich hätte drei Wochen am Stück kein Buch in der Hand gehabt. Was nicht stimmen kann, denn dafür habe ich dann doch zu viele Titel (12 Bücher, 3 Manga, 2 Kurzgeschichten) in meiner Dezember-Statistik, als dass ich das alles in ein paar Tagen gelesen hätte. Auf jeden Fall hat das Ganze dafür gesorgt, dass ich noch ein paar Neuzugänge von 2023 mit ins neue Jahr nehme. Da bin ich wirklich gespannt, wie in zwölf Monaten die Statistik aussieht und wie viele von diesen Büchern ich dann gelesen haben werde. (Und ob ich es in diesem Jahr schaffe alle Titel, die ich zwischen Januar und Oktober neu auf den SuB bekommen habe, zu lesen.)
Nachdem wir das Jahr gestern entspannt haben ausklingen lassen, starten wir mit einer weiteren Urlaubswoche ins Jahr 2024. Da ich so langsam wieder Lust aufs Lesen habe, gehe ich davon aus, dass ich meine Nase in den nächsten Tagen wieder regelmäßiger ins Buch stecken werde. Es gibt so einige Romane, Comics und Sachbücher, die mich gerade reizen. Was das weitere Jahr angeht, so nehme ich mir weiterhin vor meine Neuzugänge relativ zeitnah zu lesen und meine älteren SuB-Titel etwas weiter abzubauen. Da ich meinen Buchetat für die kommenden Monate zum Großteil mit Vorbestellungen verplant habe, sollten sich die Neuzugänge auch in Grenzen halten.

Ich habe „All Systems Red“ mal geschenkt bekommen und warte noch auf den Tag, an dem nicht ständig meine Timeline über die Murderbot-Titel redet, damit ich das Buch endlich mal lesen kann. (Oder ich muss mir ein paar Monate Online-Auszeit nehmen, damit ich ohne weitere Eindrücke im Kopf an das Buch herangehen kann. 😉 )
