Wie kann es schon März sein? Oo Der Februar war mit dreizehn gelesenen Romanen ein überraschend guter Lesemonat, allerdings war der Großteil meiner gelesenen Bücher auch relativ kurz. Immerhin habe ich auch endlich die Edward-Hopper-Anthologie beendet und kann mir für März eine neue Sammlung von Kurzgeschichten suchen. Dafür werde ich wohl noch eine Weile an „The Paper Garden“ hängen, weil ich zwar Mary Delany, um die sich dieses Sachbuch dreht, interessant finde, aber mit dem Stil der Autorin Molly Peacock nicht so viel anfangen kann. Ansonsten drehte sich mein Leben in den letzten Tagen vor allem darum, dass unsere (vor sieben Jahren refurbished gekaufte) Waschmaschine kaputt ging und (nach viel Überlegen und Kontaktaufnahme mit Handwerkern) eine neue Maschine geliefert wurde … deren Anschluss angesichts unserer etwas „individuellen“ Wohnung dann wieder eine Herausforderung wurde. Immerhin kann ich jetzt wieder Wäsche waschen!
Was den März angeht, so habe ich eigentlich keine Pläne. Ich habe vage Vorhaben, die ich gern erledigt hätte, bevor es im Sommer wieder zu heiß dafür wird. Wie das Streichen der Badezimmerdecke direkt über der Badewanne oder das weitere Ausmisten meiner Bücherregale. Aber konkret geplant habe ich noch nichts davon, weil ich gerade so wenig auf die Reihe bekomme und mich nicht ständig selbst frustrieren will. Schön wäre es, wenn ich meinen SuB (der im Februar überraschenderweise weiter gewachsen ist) mal wieder reduzieren könnte, aber auch da mache ich mir keinen Stress. Ich lasse den März einfach mal auf mich zukommen … 😉

Wie schon wieder März sein kann, habe ich mich auch gefragt. 😉
Anders als du hatte ich im Februar keinen allzu guten Lesemonat – zumindest im Hinblick auf die Buchanzahl, denn da ein 900-Seiten-Wälzer dabei war, habe ich letztendlich doch nicht ganz so wenig gelesen.
Super, dass ihr wieder eine Waschmaschine habt!
Es ist wirklich unglaublich, dass die ersten zwei Monate des Jahres schon wieder vorbei sind!
Hätte ich solche Wälzer gelesen, wäre ich auch nur auf vier Bücher gekommen. *g* 900-Seiten-Wälzer brauchen definitiv deutlich mehr Zeit als drei 300-Seiten-Bücher.
Ich lerne meine Waschmaschine gerade wieder ganz neu zu schätzen! Und ich will nie wieder erleben, dass in dieser Wohnung ein großes Gerät ausgetauscht werden muss. *uff*
