August-SuB 2023

Nachdem der Juli mit überraschend angenehmen Temperaturen endete und genügend Regentage dafür sorgte, dass wir nicht den ganzen Tag die Wohnung verdunkeln musste, habe ich es doch glatt geschafft ein gedrucktes Buch zu beenden. Ansonsten gab es vor allem eBooks für mich und wenn ich nicht so viele „kostet gerade nichts, könnte ich ja mal antesten“-Titel auf dem eReader hätte, wäre es wohl so langsam an der Zeit die eBooks in den SuB aufzunehmen. Aber auch ohne mir diese Mühe zu machen, ist der SuB im vergangenen Monat wieder ein Stückchen gewachsen …

Für den August habe ich bislang keine (Lese-)Pläne gemacht. Ich bin aber gespannt, wie es Ende Dezember mit meinem Vorhaben, alle Neuzugänge von 2023 auch in diesem Jahr gelesen zu haben, aussehen wird. Im Moment bin ich noch ganz optimistisch. Was auch daran liegt, dass der rasant voranschreitende Zusammenbruch von Twitter bedeutet, dass ich deutlich weniger interessante Romane vor die Nase bekomme, die ich spontan (vor)bestellen möchte.

Hm … vielleicht sollte ich mal testweise hier festhalten, wie viele Titel ich aus diesem Jahr noch ungelesen rumliegen habe? Aktuell sind es 11 Romane (naja, 11 1/2, aber ich bin mir sicher, dass ich den angefangenen heute oder morgen beenden werde,) und 3 Sachbücher.
