Ich muss gerade ein bisschen schmunzeln, weil ich sah, was ich mir für Oktober vorgenommen hatte. Ich wollte ein paar meiner angefangenen Bücher beenden (was ich nicht gemacht habe), ich wollte die drei ausstehenden Rezensionen noch schreiben (was ich natürlich nicht getan habe und inzwischen sind es deutlich mehr Bücher, die ich noch besprechen will) und ich wollte eins meiner neuen Sachbücher lesen. Nun, das habe ich mit „The Barbizon“ immerhin geschafft! Außerdem hatte ich einen Haufen Termine inklusive einer Zahn-OP und habe trotzdem – dank der Herbstlesen-Wochenenden und „Penric & Desdemona“ – einen Haufen Bücher gelesen. Alles in allem ein anstrengender, aber auch sehr befriedigender Monat. Ich wäre jetzt trotzdem bereit für eine Auszeit oder zumindest für ein paar Wochen mit langweiligem Alltag.
Vorher fahre ich aber noch ein paar Tage zu meiner Mutter (und ich kann inzwischen nicht mehr sagen, wie viele „Zugbindung aufgehoben“-/“Abfahrtzeiten geändert“-Mails die Bahn mir in den letzten Wochen schon geschickt hat), was sich natürlich auch auf meine Lesezeit auswirken wird. Trotzdem hoffe ich, dass ich nach meiner Rückkehr wieder genug Zeit zum Lesen finden werde, um den SuB noch ein bisschen zu verkleinern, bevor es zum Jahresende höchst wahrscheinlich einige Buchgeschenke für mich geben wird. Fest vorgenommen habe ich mir wieder eins meiner in diesem Jahr neu angeschafften Sachbücher zu lesen – und wer weiß, vielleicht schaffe ich ja sogar irgendwann noch die Rezensionen zu schreiben, die ich eigentlich gern noch veröffentlichen würde. *g*
