Februar-SuB 2026

Der Januar war ein wirklich seltsamer Monat für mich. Auf der einen Seite habe ich das kalte Wetter und den Frost beim Spazierengehen genossen, auf der anderen Seite mochte ich so gar nicht kommunizieren oder gar etwas mit anderen Menschen unternehmen (auch wenn ich natürlich trotzdem ab und an verabredet war). Eigentlich wollte ich mich nur noch mit der Nase im Buch in einer Ecke einrollen – was immerhin dazu geführt hat, dass ich wirklich viel Zeit mit Lesen verbracht habe. Was ich nicht nur als wohltuend empfinde, sondern was auch für einen kleinen SuB-Rückgang gesorgt hat.

Für den Februar habe ich keine nennenswerten Pläne. Allerdings hat mich ein YT-Video, das ich vor kurzem geschaut habe, auf die Idee gebracht, dass ich in diesem Jahr doch ein paar Bücher im englischen Original lesen könnte, die vor 100 Jahren zum ersten Mal veröffentlicht wurden und die ich bislang nur in der deutschen Übersetzung kenne. Mein größtes Problem dabei ist immer, dass es für mich gerade bei sehr produktiven Autor*innen schwierig ist, mich für eine Ausgabe zu entscheiden, weil ich immer denke, dass ich langfristig gern mehrere zusammenpassende Titel im Regal stehen hätte. Immerhin gibt es von so alten Büchern normalerweise eBook-Varianten, die keinen Euro kosten und die mir (erst einmal) die Entscheidung für eine Version abnehmen.
